Dana Consuelo has spent the last 36 years working in the healing arts. She came to be a NeurOptimal trainer by first training for over a hundred hours to begin her own on going changes in consciousness. She still trains herself regularly in order to continue the work of her own personal growth. She has experienced transformation in her ability to have clarity of focus, be efficient and organized, be less impacted by extrinsic constraints, and begin a regular meditation practice. After taking Dr. Alan Batcher's Basic Trainer course she began working in the Seattle area offices of New Earth NeuroCare. She stayed with this group for two years before relocating to Virginia beach, Virginia and opening her own office in the spring of 2014.
In addition to her certification in Neuroptimal Neurofeedback, she has NCBTMB certification in massage therapy and has worked as a certified practitioner of various physical therapies, including Transformational Breath work (Levels I-V), Cayce-Reilly hydrotherapy, and Heida Brennekee and Cayce-Reilly massage techniques. From 1999 to 2011, Dana also owned and managed the four-star Spa Essencia on Whidbey Island, WA. Known for excellent customer service and skilled therapists, this day spa offered a variety of treatments and products, including Dana's signature detoxifying herbal wrap and her own product line of Spa Essencia massage oils and creams. For several years, she also worked for Bastyr University, a fully accredited university in Seattle which offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in science-based natural medicine. Her work for Bastyr included coordinating an alumni association, writing a quarterly newsletter and producing a variety of continuing education classes in natural healing.
She currently offers training sessions in her office and rental units for home training primarily for professionals who strive for peak performance. She is also a representative for the Zengar company and available to help those who wish to purchase systems.
